Middleware is awarded contract for development of multi-channel platform for Piraeus Bank

Piraeus Bank has entered into a contract with Middleware International Inc. (USA) to develop a new full-featured digital banking platform that will serve all customer segments. Ilias Mouzakis, IT Technologies and Retail Banking Director of Piraeus Bank, stated, “We plan to create a complex remote banking solution (Web-/Mobile (Android/IOS)) for all our customers, from individuals and private entrepreneurs to small and midsized businesses. Using solutions proposed by Middleware, that are innovative and flexible and support speedy introduction of changes in functionality, will enable Piraeus Bank to customize business processes and service functionality flexibly and quickly, improve service security with intelligent anti-fraud system, and provide multi-channel communication with bank customers that includes instant messaging”.

The new platform is scheduled to be launched at the end of the 2nd quarter of 2020.
